Product overview
TEBAK Slideway Epoxy Adhesive is a composite epoxy resin adhesive supplied in two paste components. Component A is epoxy resin (beige, 10,000-12,000 cps at 25°C) and Component B is a modified amine hardener (light yellow, 12,000-15,000 cps at 25°C). Mix A and B at a 1:1 ratio by volume, stir evenly, spread onto the prepared surface and press the liner into place.
Surface preparation: remove oil or grease from the substrate by cleaning or grinding before bonding. Plastic and rubber surfaces also require appropriate pre-treatment.
Cured performance: heat deflection temperature 60°C, bond is lost above 90°C, and no embrittlement or bond failure at -40°C in winter conditions. Typical tensile shear strength on aluminium: 120 kg/cm2 (cured 160°C x 30 min), 90 kg/cm2 (1 day at RT), 120 kg/cm2 (7 days at RT); on ABS: 60-70 kg/cm2; wood substrates break before the adhesive bond fails.
